Federal Five Drug Screen in urine

The test group is limited to those drugs presently most frequently abused. Emphasis is on low detection limits for "street" drugs so as to discover drug use up to several days prior to the urine being taken.  Results should be used for treatment and advisory purposes only unless confirmed by an alternate technique.  Cannabinoids can be detected for the longest period after use (12 days with heavy daily use). Cocaine and opiates can be detected for 4 days, phencyclidine 7 days, and amphetamines about 2 days. Benzodiazepines, barbiturates, other opiates, pseudoephedrine, methadone, phenothiazines, meperidine, propoxyphene and other prescription drugs are not covered.

The GC/MS test is considered the "benchmark" for accuracy and is least likely to be legally challenged. However, those confirmations which AB-C performs by other than GC/MS methods are completely accurate and would confirm by an appropriately carried out GC/MS test.
